Head of Marketing

Malomo is looking for our first head of marketing to join our growing team.

Relationships are everything

At Malomo, we're on a mission to help e-commerce brands and consumers build better relationships with each other. We do that through a fresh approach to shipment tracking. Each month, millions of consumers view a Malomo powered shipping email or tracking page, and we help ecommerce merchants use that attention to drive 1:1 relationships with their customers.

Overview: In this role your core responsibility is to build the marketing engine for Malomo.

What you'll do:

  • Be the first marketing leader at a company that's growing fast
  • Build our marketing automation system and set it up to scale 10x
  • Build and grow our marketing team
  • Help design a high growth partnerships program
  • Build an inbound system that generates consistent inbound leads
  • Help make our brand ubiquitous
  • Build our paid search and paid display programs
  • Build and execute our social media strategy
  • Coordinate with the inside sales team to ramp up inbound leads
  • Collaborate with founders and team members to define our product, positioning, and messaging


  • Have experience running marketing at a fast-growing tech startup (points for experience in e-commerce apps)
  • 3+ years experience in B2B marketing role
  • Proficiency in marketing automation systems (preferably Hubspot), with a strong understanding of downstream integration with CRM
  • Want to lead
  • Have a great eye for design
  • Are a storyteller and love to write
  • Like to tell stories with data
  • Want to be at the forefront of the next revolution in commerce
  • Are a team player who wants to help your colleagues succeed
  • Love helping customers find the right solution for their business
